Does anyone here know how to post one of their project websites on google and other search engines? I heard about this a while ago, but I think you need proof of ownership of the domain
yeah I just looked this up and it does say you need to be owner “or full user” of the site on their search console.
might also work if you make a page that links to the url you want them to index, from a site you own. if we are to believe at all in the concept of a worldwide web connected with hyperlinks 
I don’t think it needs to be registered with the search console. Just try regularly searching url:<your domain> to check if it’s in google and try to link it from other pages google knows
google search console allows verification of ownership of a site via a file upload or meta tag so it’s fine for glitch. I’ve had my glitch site indexed by google.
