but i see today, project has not custom domain url and cannot re set custom domain.

You are correct in noting that the current Custom Domain feature does not store the previously-generated information; we have a task in our backlog to update the custom domain feature at some point in the future.
In the meantime, if you’ve misplaced the shw.io domain Glitch displayed the first time you’ll need to start from scratch to get a new shw.io domain in the Custom Domain menu. First we have to remove the existing combination and for that we’ll need the project name and custom domain to remove.

Ok, this custom domain combination has been removed. You should be able to reuse it now.
I also need to remove a custom domain binding! I didn’t realize that I couldn’t then claim the domain on fly. I thought that deleting the project would release the domain (oops!), the project name was “ravedot” and it went to rave.r0uge.org.
This has now been done!
I also need a custom domain from a project, lol. The project is called web-and-bot and the domain is zeptixmc.net

We cannot remove a custom domain from a deleted project. In order for us to remove the custom domain from this project, you will need to:
- Go into your Deleted Projects and temporarily un-delete ‘www-turbobiscuit-net’.
- Let us know once this has been done.
Then we will remove your custom domain from that project.
I have undeleted the project.

It looks like my search was case sensitive. Sorry about that! I was able to find ar9am.ml and remove it from our system. You should be able to use that domain now. It it still doesn’t work, just give us a shout.
We have deleted those domains from your projects. Giving users the ability within Glitch to remove custom domains from their project by themselves is something that we are looking at.
If this becomes available, we will make an announcement.
In the meantime, if this is something that you think is very important, you can also post it as a feature request here. That way other users can vote on it.

I had one little problem with that domain if you can help me ( this time i made a mistake… Sorry.).
So i tried to add it using fly.io and everythink work fine until i stopped on the final stage when you have to copy the shw.io link to setup DNS record.
At this moment i was involved with a problem with my domain provider and i let the window open so when i came back the page just flashed and kind of auto refreshing and asked me to add new site so could you help please removing it again please .

hey @mohrrk - i don’t see that domain in our records anymore, can you try again and see if you have the same alert, sometimes dns changes take longer than any of us would like and perhaps it’s available to use again. if you do see the error, though, i’d email [email protected] to ask them where the hostname is right now.

i have just one question ? what should i keep when deleting dns records or making changes is it the shw.io link and what should i do if i deleted the dns records by mistake or something went wrong ?

We can’t delete custom domains from a deleted project. Can you please un-delete morgan-belanger-deleted and then let us know? Once we remove the custom domains, you can re-delete it if you like.

i have a problem, i cant create a cname for my project, the domain is registrer on hostinger and when i try to create a cname the webpage say like the dns has more than one record.help me please

While you can create multiple cnames for the same site, you can only set one cname record per host name. So, you will need to remove the other cname before using the new one.

hi! the domain you have set up is for “www.juanecheverria.xyz” which does take you to ~fondo-vr-erre. If you want “juanecheverria.xyz” to point to the project, you’ll have to repeat the process that you did for the www hostname you have already.
